Sophomore Izzy Sabala of Hermitage, Mo. finished 12th in the javelin with a throw of 36.43 meters on Thursday, May 14.
"Izzy Sabala competed in the women's javelin," said assistant coach Kellin Loch. "She walked away placing 12th. She also ended her season with a big PR at the national meet, a good way to go out."
On Saturday, freshman Callie McWilliams of Shelbina, Mo. finished 17th in the triple jump with a jump of 11.78 meters.
"Callie McWilliams had a good showing at nationals as well," said Loch. "While the progress she made this season may not have been reflected by her best mark of the meet. She has had a big jump at the end that, I believe, was a strong jump and one to be proud about ending the season."
