Lady Roadrunners compete at the Red Raven Invite
The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners track and field team brought home three event championships from the Red Raven Invite contested on Wednesday, April 8 in Coffeyville, Kan.
Coffeyville, Kan.-The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners track and field team brought home three event championships from the Red Raven Invite contested on Wednesday, April 8 in Coffeyville, Kan.
Freshman Libbey Baadsgaard of Springfield, Mo, won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 15:11.05. Freshman Vivian Barton of Savannah, Mo. captured the title in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:03.17. The Lady Roadrunners also won the 4x400 m relay with a time of 4:15.98.
Sophomore Jocelyn Nunez of Independence, Mo. finished second in the long jump with a jump of 5.45 meters. Freshman Lily Long of Excelsior Springs, Mo. finished second in the javelin with a throw of 27.49 meters. The Lady Roadrunners 4x100m relay team finished second with a time of 49.78. Freshman Emily Trelow of Smithton, Mo. finished second in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 5:46.07. Freshman Kelsey Frederick of Kirksville, Mo. finished second in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 18.19. Katelyn Burbank of Brunswick, Mo. finished second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:12.65.
Freshman Avri Fox finished third in the shot put with a throw of 11.46 meters. Fox also finished third in the hammer throw with a throw of 31.39 meters.
