Lady Roadrunners finish third at Wildcat Relays
The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners women’s track and field team opened their outdoor season with a third place finish at the Wildcat Relays hosted by Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo.
Canton, Mo.-The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners women's track and field team opened their outdoor season with a third place finish at the Wildcat Relays hosted by Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo. SFCC totaled 154 points as a team at the event.
Freshman Avri Fox of Warrensburg, Mo. won the shot put with a throw of 11.00 meters. Fox finished third in the hammer throw with a throw of 29.31 meters. Fox finished fifth in the discus with a throw of 25.06 meters.
Sophomore Laiysha Freeman of Kansas City, Mo won the long jump with a jump of 5.11 meters. Freeman finished fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.32. Freeman finished sixth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 29.30.
Freshman Callie McWilliams of Shelbina, Mo. won the triple jump with a jump of 11.81 meters. McWilliams also finished third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.29.
Sophomore Izzy Sabala of Hermitage, Mo. won the javelin with a throw of 35.38 meters. Sabala finished fourth in the hammer throw with a throw of 29.22 meters.
Freshman Vivian Barton of Savannah, Mo. placed first in the 400-meter dash with a time 1:01.18. Barton also finished first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.57.
Freshman Maryn Clausing of Peculiar, Mo. won the 5,000 meters with a time of 20:43.48. Clausing finished second in the 3,000 meters with a time of 12:25.96.
The Lady Roadrunners 4x100 m relay team finished first with a time of 50.35. The Lady Roadrunners 1,000 meter sprint medley relay team finished first with a time of 2:33.42.
Freshman Libbey Baadsgaard of Springfield, Mo. finished second in the 5,000 meters with a time of 22:51.80. Baadsgaard finished fourth in the 3,000 meters with a time of 13:01.91.
Freshman Haylee Lent of Marshall, Mo. finished third in the shot put with a throw of 9.02 meters. Lent finished fifth in the hammer throw with a throw of 27.60 meters.
Freshman Tancy William of Marshall, Mo. finished third in the discus with a throw of 25.91 meters. William finished sixth in the hammer throw with a throw of 25.62 meters.
Freshman Lindsay Burnett Hamilton, Mo. finished third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:06.17.
Freshman Emily Trelow of Smithton, Mo. finished third in the 3,000 meters with a time of 12:45.75.
Freshman Samantha Podorski of Jefferson City, Mo. finished fourth in the high jump with a jump of 1.32 meters. Podorski finished eighth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 14.91.
Freshman Chelsi Berry of Savannah, Mo. finished fourth in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:08.43.
Freshman Anjyu McKee of Warrensburg, Mo. finished fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.63. McKee also finished fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.93.
Freshman Katelyn Burbank of Brunswick, Mo. finished sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:11.49.
SFCC will return to action at the University of Central Missouri on Friday, March 20 for the UCM Invitational.
