Roadrunners win Wildcat Relays
Canton, Mo.- The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners track and field team opened their outdoor season taking first place as a team at the Wildcat Relays hosted by Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo.
Canton, Mo.- The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners track and field team opened their outdoor season taking first place as a team at the Wildcat Relays hosted by Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo. SFCC totaled 223 points as a team at the event.
Sophomore Zeshaun Ballance-Gray of Kansas City, Mo. placed first in the long jump with a jump of 6.45 meters. Ballance-Gray also placed first in the triple jump with a jump of 13.93 meters.
Sophomore Joseph Bland of Versailles, Mo. finished first in the shot put with a throw of 13.20 meters. Bland also finished second in the discus with a throw of 36.77 meters. Bland collected a sixth-place finish in the hammer throw with a throw of 29.79 meters.
Freshman Gage Marshall of Middletown, Mo. was victorious in the high jump with a jump of 1.81 meters. Marshall finished sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.36.
Sophomore Landon Ashworth of Crest Ridge, Mo. won the javelin with a throw of 51.64 meters.
Freshman Carter Moss of Centralia, Mo. won the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:25.24. Moss finished second in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:28.99.
Freshman Cash Anderson of Kansas City, Mo. won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.70. Anderson also finished first in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.18.
Sophomore Adam Broekemeier of Edwardsville, Ill. finished first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:01.44.
The Roadrunners 4 x 100m relay team finished first with a time of 43.67. The Roadrunners 4 x 800m relay team finished first with a time of 12:06.34.
The Roadrunners 1000m sprint medley relay team finished second with a time of 2:04.47.
Freshman Tony Linhart of Milan, Mo. finished second in the pole vault with a jump of 3.60 meters. Linhart finished fourth in the high jump with a jump of 1.66 meters. Linhart placed fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.51.
Freshman Marcel Milner of Riverside, Mo. finished second in the triple jump with a jump of 13.36 meters.
Freshman Sam Tagtmeyer of Sedalia, Mo. finished second in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:38.41. Tagtmeyer also finished second in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:06.22.
The Roadrunners 4 x 400m relay team finished third with a time of 3:57.34.
Freshman TJ Brown Of Independence, Mo. finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.12. He finished third in the long jump with a jump of 6.22 meters. Brown finished third in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.45.
Sophomore Conner Finke of Montgomery City, Missouri finished third in the hammer throw with a throw of 32.93 meters. Finke finished fourth in the javelin with a throw of 36.92 meters.
Freshman Ryland Woolery of Sedalia, Mo. finished third in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:40.46. Woolery also finished third in the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:38.94.
Sophomore Steven Skelton of Waynesville, Mo. finished fourth in the triple jump with a jump of 12.47 meters. Skelton finished third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.70. Skelton finished sixth in the long jump with a jump of 5.85 meters. Skelton finished eighth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.10.
Freshman Owen Weatherspoon of Lawson, Mo. finished fourth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:42.88. Weatherspoon also finished fourth in the 5,000 meters in a time of 18:07.82.
Freshman Ethan Bennett of Milan, Mo. finished fifth in the long jump with a jump of 5.93 meters.
Freshman Jonah Slovensky of New Florence, Mo. finished fifth in the triple jump with a jump of 11.75 meters.
Freshman Noah Sill of Columbia, Mo. finished fifth in the1,500 meters with a time of 4:43.46. Sill also finished fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.21.
Freshman Fredrick Deitas of Sedalia, Mo. finished sixth in the discus with a throw of 26.09 meters. Deitas finished seventh in the shot put with a throw of 10.28 meters. Deitas finished eighth in the hammer throw with a throw of 20.94 meters.
Sophomore Raul Ramirez of Sedalia, Mo. finished eighth in the100-meter dash with a time of 11.86.
SFCC will return to action at the University of Central Missouri on Friday, March 20 for the UCM Invitational.
