Roadrunners continue indoor season

Topeka, Kan.-The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners men's track and field team competed at the Washburn Open hosted by Washburn University on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 30-31 inside the Sneed Indoor Athletic Facility in Topeka, Kan.

Sophomore Zeshaun Ballance-Gray of Kansas City, Mo. finished seventh in the triple jump with a jump of 14.59 meters, to record the best finish for the Roadrunners at the event.

"Washburn was an extremely high-level event," said head coach Brad Hagedorn. "We were very fortunate to have some athletes earn entry into the meet. With that being said, we performed very well proving we can compete with the best in the Midwest. Zeshaun continues to shine as he placed in the triple jump."

 SFCC is currently scheduled to return to action on Saturday, Feb. 7 in the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcat Invitational in Maryville, Mo.
