"It was a very long trip early in the morning to get to Southeast Missouri State," said head coach Brad Hagedorn. "Our inexperience showed throughout the day. While our sophomores adjusted quickly, our freshmen let their nerves get to them at times. As the season progresses, I will expect that to level out so our best performances can come out. Balance and Jenkins really shined for the men, winning one of their events."
The Roadrunners will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Coach Alsup Invite at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo.
