Sedalia, Mo. – New State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners Head Basketball Coach Jeremy Jackson has added two more signees to his 2025–26 roster. Andin Ashford and Jai'Kori Phillips will join the 11 players announced previously. The pair will begin their academic and athletic careers at SFCC later this month.
Ashford is a 6-foot-3 combo guard from Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who played high school basketball at Winston-Salem Christian High School. As a senior, he averaged 17 points and two assists per game.
"Andin can score at the rim, from the midrange and beyond the three-point line," said Jackson. "He will be one of our young players to keep an eye on for his growth this year."
Phillips is a 6-foot-6 wing who comes to SFCC as a transfer from Lincoln Trail College in Illinois, where he started and played in 27 games. He averaged nine points and six rebounds per game as a freshman. Originally from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Phillips helped his team win a 5A state championship in 2024. He averaged 24 points, nine rebounds and four assists his senior year.
"Jai'Kori is a great defender," said Jackson. "Jai'Kori will have a great season ahead for the Roadrunners."
"As a team, I think we have a good mixture of experience at the junior college level with some of the transfers that we brought in," Jackson added. "We also have some freshmen who are really talented. I am anxious to put all the pieces together and see how it all works out. We want to build a great culture and foundation here."
